+* copy example recipe files from a similar camera (eg, ipp/ippconfig/megacam)
+* copy Makefile.am from a similar camera (eg, ipp/ippconfig/megacam)
+* edit camera.config to describe your camera
+  - list the ccds and chips in FPA METADATA
+  - list the filters of interest (header name STR internal name)
+    give all varients used in the headers
+  - fix paths which refer to the original paths.
