Heather's Checklist

This is a list of things I should do daily (specifically, while ingesting to ipptopsps and loading addstar):

• update LAPintoPSPS as necessary
• addstar related
  • make new plots for AddStarLap20120706 serge added to ippMonitor
  • related: if need to queue more slices, queue them, edit LAPintoPSPS and edit site.config
  • check disk space on the addstars (ipp004 and ipp005)
• minidvodb related
  • check status of us doing initial calibrations
• merge related
  • status of merge
  • are we done with merging a slice? then do the addstar -resort, setphot, relphot, relastro
• ipptopsps related
  • check on status of loaders
  • check on status of load

Current

• sas11 - make new sas11 (talk to bill) - * create random column in object table (heather) -32 bit real
  • change the bible (schema) * bill run relphot on dvo

2. kepler - build dvodb

• md09 - build dvodb
  • finish this, clean up duplicates
• ssp for steph - in progress
  • push into regular summitcopy/etc
• make LAP dvodb
• make w band dvodb
  • queue up the rest of w
  • add w skycal when done
• sort out threepi quarterly mess

Medium Priority

• u band stacks from MegaCam (more info here: ​http://svn.pan-starrs.ifa.hawaii.edu/trac/ipp/wiki/MeediumDeepUBand )
  • multiple requests from KP5, JT, and ZZ.
  • remaining issues
    • we have clean/good processed single exposures from CADC
    • astrometry is funny for some of it due to lack of stars
      • possible ideas to fix:
        • force to be linear fits in astrometry
        • force to fit the exposure rather than the individual chips
    • chop out the crappy astrometry ones and stack

• isp/skyprobe
  • Roger/Niall want skyprobe
  • sort out dome occultations
  • sort out bad focus
  • astrometry/zeropoint problems (sorted - this has to do with how addstar was being run)
  • does isp still not ingest properly RA/DEC/etc from fits file? yes...
  • sort out skycells etc to make warps -- done!
    • skycells command ran (with 5.57 arcsec/pixel, see here: ​http://svn.pan-starrs.ifa.hawaii.edu/trac/ipp/wiki/PS1_Tessellations )
    • copied skycells to /local/ipp/isp/
  • make stacks
  • process SAS area of sky for testing - in progress! lots of stuff there...

• note that ippMonitor lied and wasn't updated - dropped the 8 first attempts...

Lower priority Heather tasks

• ssp * periodically download ssp from atrc (BAAAAD)
  • work with jt to get monsta script and to process ssp (I have the scripts, need to automate them,etc)
  • switch to datastore for grabbing files when ssp/uip computer gets sorted out
  • when switched to datastore add ssp to summitcopy/registration

• uip - set that up as well (summitcopy/registration) - the uip machine is not ready yet

• gpc1 dvodbs
  • continue building ThreePi?/LAP, backing up as necessary

• jtmd
  • queue jtmd stuff as requested
