Hardware Configuration
The Odyssey cluster at Harvard is:
- 512 dual quad-core Xeon E5410 nodes, 4096 cores total
- 4GB RAM/core
- 2.3 GHz clock
- Infiniband 4x DDR interconnect
- GigE interconnect
- redundant Ethernet administrative network
File System
- Lustre, max 1Gbit/sec to any node, > 1Gbit/sec aggregate across all nodes
Software
- RHEL 5.1
- Platform LSF cluster management
- Modules-based software environment management
- OpenMPI, MVAPICH
