    1 * This machine doesn't seem to preserve its BIOS settings after a reboot (which means that it has to be turned on by hand after a reboot).  Next time I visit, I'll try checking and/or replacing the CMOS battery.
     1* This machine doesn't preserve its BIOS settings after a reboot (which means that it has to be turned on by hand after a reboot). We've tried replacing the BIOS battery, but that didn't fix the problem.
