Description
Is it possible to make the leading dot in the component name optional, such that
levels may be specified "A.B.C" instead of ".A.B.C"?

It is "theoretically possible", of course. However, the current SDRS states "."
is the top-level of the component tree. So, from a systems engineering point of
view (we implement according to the requirements documents), it isn't possible.
