This is a checklist for restarting addstar if you've moved dvodbs around, or moved to a different addstar machine.

• ippdvo account
  • verify that add*/ptolemy.rc points to the computer to run addstar
    • addstar/ptolemy.rc
    • addstarlap/ptolemy.rc
  • ippconfig/site.config
    • verify that future dvos will be created and merged on the proper machines
  • chown the minidvodbs and mergedvodb to be owned by ippdvo
• minidvodb tables
  • verify that for the non-merged databases:
    • the minidvodb location is correct (where they currently reside)
    • the mergedvodb location is correct (where they will be merged into)

• restart addstar as described in the addstar pantasks wiki, but keep an eye out for failures.
