Summary of MOPS_depthloss_test130715
MOPS has noted often in the past of signal-to-noise issues (primarily not reaching the detection depths expecting and varying signal-to-noise measures). This has been traced back to an incorrect propagation of the covariance in the difference images.
Alan suggested a couple of chunks for comparison testing with a more appropriate covariance propagation (at least for all but the brightest sources)
- TJD 56065, chunk 152.OSS.D.Q.w as a night where can compare with both the original diffim photometry and also the chip-level photometry (20120518)
- TJD 56477, chunk 166.OSS.J.Q.w for a very recently observed set (20130704)
Reprocessing details -- started on 20130715

- datastore time registered starting 2013-07-17T00:45:16Z
It is important to note that these reprocessed diffims also included the dual convolution option also turned off (though only a small % wanted dual as seen from the original processing)
More will be added to this page as time allows.
